Jordan Best
Co-Founder 
NASM CPT; ERYT-500; YACEP; FRC-ms; CPPC

Jordan is a certified personal trainer (NASM CPT), certified pre- & postnatal coach (CPPC) and functional mobility specialist (FRC-ms). She has a special interest in empowering women to feel strong and empowered in their bodies regardless of the stage of life they are in, from puberty, to pregnancy, to menopause. In addition to strength and mobility training, Jordan She teaches Vinyasa (ERYT-500) and Progressive Ashtanga yoga (ERYT-200), has completed advanced trainings in anatomy, classical Ashtanga Yoga, trauma-informed yoga, adaptable yoga, inversions, and arm/hand balancing.She supports the next generation of yoga teachers by serving as faculty in multiple yoga teacher trainings throughout northern NJ, as well as leading trainings in applied anatomy, advanced sequencing and cueing, teaching inversions and arm balances and yoga for athletes.

Marcus McGriff
Co-Founder
NSCA CPT

Marcus grew up loving to be active and always searching for ways to help others. Over time, he realized he could put those two passions together.  After graduating from Montclair State University with a B.S in Exercise Science, Marcus jumped right into his training career. Over 12 years later, he’s still looking for ways to make fitness accessible for everyone. With the understanding that strength training paired with other modalities ultimately drives positive results, Marcus hopes to share his experience, drive, and passion to help people of all ages and abilities. His main goal is to create a comfortable space where individuals can be challenged, but have fun.

Sarah Freer
NASM CPT

Sarah graduated from Seton Hall University with a Bachelor’s in Social and Behavioral Sciences and a Master’s in Special Education. She is a certified personal trainer (NASM-CPT), registered yoga teacher (RYT-200), and is also trained to work with individuals with traumatic brain injuries (LoveYourBrain). Sarah has several years of experience teaching and coaching at the middle school and high school level. She is currently a special education teacher at Ignite Learning Academy and the assistant coach of the Columbia Girls Varsity Soccer team. Sarah grew up playing soccer, lacrosse, and swimming. She attended Hobart William Smith college to play soccer, winning a Division III National Championship. Sarah believes in the importance of strengthening the mind body connection. Having professional experience in both academics and athletics, Sarah has seen firsthand the positive impact training has on an individual's overall health. She uses coaching as a way to build confidence, develop a resilient mindset, and overcome challenges.

Who We work with

Teens
Ages 12-18 looking to incorporate movement and mobility into their daily lives. From teen athletes to those who have no interest in sports, we meet our kids where they are, encouraging confidence, independence, and resilience. Our trainers have worked with teens ranging from complete novices to Division 1 college athletes. 

Adults
Ages 18+ seeking to improve their strength, cardiorespiratory health, and freedom in their bodies. We work with all levels, from those just starting their fitness journey to athletes and everything in between.

Pre- & Post-Natal
Pregnancy is a time to turn inward and listen to your body. With our trained experts, mothers will find confidence and support to continue their fitness journey through their pregnancy and post-natal phases. 

Peri- & Post-Menopause

As women’s bodies mature, their fitness and movement needs change as well. At Move Well, we’ll work with your unique body to get stronger, combat the loss of muscle and bone density, and calm your nervous system.
